There is a spark in the heart of darkness,
that has grown throughout the years.
A spark of love, a spark of hope,
that could take away my fears.
The fear of death, the fear of life,
the fear of the unknown.
All compounded by one more,
the fear of being alone.
There are no worries worth the time,
at least that's what they say.
Especially when those you love
can make them go away.
Experiences are best when shared
with those you care about.
The friends, family, and loved ones
that you cannot do without.
My spark has now ignited
a light as bright as day.
It shines upon a single path,
to clearly mark the way.
Like any flame it simply needed
some tender loving care.
For this reason I am thankful,
because you were always there.
