I am an articulate, educated, intellectual person that loves discussion and discourse of all types on all subjects. If I am not familiar with a subject and it interests me, I will research it.
I am NOT your typical guy by any means. I live an alternative lifestyle at home. I am Dominant, and will not hesitate to turn a snooty lady over my knee if she deserves it. (And has consented in advance!) I am precociously adventurous in the bedroom. (Or kitchen, or living room, or backyard. You get the picture.) This is not the extent of my alternative lifestyle. If a lady wants ot learn more, she is welcome to ask.
I ended up on here because I checked out an ad that I saw. FUBAR means something completely different to someone like me that has been in the military. To us, it means F*cked Up Beyond All Repair.
I do NOT drink, smoke, or drug, so that leaves me only one vice left, and I consider myself to be EXTREMELY good at it. The only way for ladies to find out if I actually am any good is to....

Interests
I love muscle cars and motorcycles, surfing the Net, doing woodwork when I am in the mood, and I read voraciously. My favorite genres are Military Fiction, (John Ringo), Science Fiction (Louis McMaster Bujold, John Ringo), Fantasy (J R R Tolkien, John Ringo), Gothic Horror (Brian Lumley and Laurell K Hamilton), and Westerns (Louis L'Amour, Zane Grey) when I need a change of pace. I will NEVER buy an e-reader. I can drop a book, pick it up, and continue reading. There is no such guarantee with an e-reader. Plus, a room full of books is so much more satisfying!
Music
I REALLY do listen to all types of music. How else would I know if I like something? I do have my favorite genres, but I generally have my player on "random".
I listen to everything from Abba to ZZ Top. Some of my favorite artists right now are Shaka Ponk, Lindsey Sterling, Bat For Lashes, AC/DC (always a classic!) Travis Tritt, Nightwish, Rammstein, Trace Adkins, and Blake Shelton. I have also recently discovered the Pistol Annies.
Movies
I like the same things here as I like to read, The LOTR series, The Hobbit, Avatar, Star Wars, Star Trek, Silverado, The Unforgiven, Pale Rider, etc....
Video Games
I do play FPS games, but mostly in SP mode. The online gaming community has become so monetized, and full of cheaters/hackers, that I refuse to play there anymore. The exception to this rule is Minecraft.
