I'm just another person out there trying to do something with their little life.My name is Matthew, and I am a student of Linguistics at the University of Oregon.I speak Japanese fluently.I speak Chinese alright.I am trying to learn modern Greek.I am currently single, having just broken up with a girlfriend of five years, and I'm not so sure I like the single life much. I have a tendency to get very internal about everything, unable to get out of my own head in the times I am by myself, so being single sort of makes this a daily habit.I make short films, play guitar, write poetry and short stories, paint.. I'm basically a jack of all trades.I talk to myself, so if you're not into meeting a rather strange and unusual person, you'd probably be best to go out and hang out with some business majors or something. You know, the type of people who come to college to study POT.That's just not me.

Interests
Studying languages (I can speak Chinese and Japanese and I'm working on modern Greek), linguistics, guitar, poetry, writing, reading, making music, making short films, gymnastics (recreational tricking), Aikido, taking long meandering midnight strolls alone.
Music
I have very diverse tastes. I enjoy most anything that isn't hip-hop or country.

Plenty of favorites.
Final Fantasy VII, Dead or Alive, Final Fantasy Tactics, the Metal Gear series.. I'll probably add more later.
