I can hardly believe my daughter wasn't even born yet!!
I was at my job on 14th Street and Union Square East... I watched the second tower hit and both fall... They asked all able bodied professionals to stay to help. I left after three hours of NO PATIENTS! By the time our fellow NYers got from the WTC center to 14th St, they were dazed, dusty and alive. No need for medical care.
I left and walked about 75 blocks uptown to a coworkers apartment until I finally had to walk back down and walk the Brooklyn bridge across and get myself home. I will NEVER forget that day crying for my friends who lost loved ones in those buildings. sighhhhhhhhhhhh
