Well, we're closing on our new house on Monday. My fiance has a dog - Boston Terrier (currently living with his mother). He loves this dog - as if it were his own child. He wants to install a doggy-door so the dog can come in and out as he pleases. Which in our old house - would have no problems with. But, we're buying all new furniture, and this dog tore up his leather sofa at his old house. And then there's the hair - if it's one thing I can't stand , it's animal hair all over everything.
Should I talk to him about keeping the dog as an outside dog only? Or, since it's his best friend, just let him come in the house?
P.S. - We're taking a 5 hour trip this weekend to go and pick up the dog!
