So I've decided to get a gun for to protect the casa from various miscreants ,degenerates, reprobates and the like. I've narrowed it down to 2 types of weapons ...unfortunately battle axes or war hammers are not viable options.


1. A Shot gun. Trust worthy,effective and it's hard to miss. I'm thinking the Remington 870 or maybe something by Mossburg.

2. Handgun- 9mm or perhaps a 40 cal. I worry about wall penetration and also well, missing my target.The idea is to neutralize the threat not make holes in walls.
