I was watching Good Morning America this morning - and there were 2 stories that made me raise an eyebrow...
1) A woman claims to have been cured of Parkinson's Disease by praying TO Pope John Paul II.
In my limited grasp of theology, I am pretty sure that even Catholics agree that you don't pray to a living person (the prayer to him was supposedly while he was still alive). I could see the people trying to gain him sainthood talking about a divine healing by the Pope - but I was pretty sure that praying TO him was blasphemous.
2) Former Governer of Arizona claims to have seen UFOs.
I am not going to be naive and say there is no chance of life outside of this planet - however - if a UFO were to get THAT close to us, would you assume that they would try to initiate further conversation or exploration?
So - the question - Has GMA gone mad? |
