Anything boardsports is my life. From Skate, Surf, and Kite to the clothing this is what I live. My wife and I own a boardsports shop in South Haven Michigan called Sharkless Boardsports. Kiteboarding has been my life for about 5 years now. I have a way of becoming addicted to things, not drugs, but sports. For years Soccer was my life, I lived, ate, and breathed Soccer. I would go to summer camps, and be in every league I could find. Then I broke my back rock climbing right after high school, so I was told Karate was a good think to get my back, back into shape. So I started Working out at the Dojo until I had no time for Soccer anymore. Well Karate was great, but became very routine, same thing over and over. Then life changed, I was in Florida in 2001 and saw kiteboarding. First thing that came to me was Hell I live in a beach town I could do this all the time. And that was the start for me. Now mind you Kiteboarding, is my main interest, I like other things as well. Social Drinking is always fun, I like to hang out, and have a good time. I also bowl, yea bowl, I know what your thinking bowling. Well, this is the thing about it for me. My friends are in a league and said you want to fill in and I was like sure free beer. Well if I had got a 300 right off I would have said ok that's it I'm bored. But damnit I didn't and now my competitive side comes out. The other problem with that is these guys bet on everything. You hear all the time "10 you can't make it" and yea betting is a problem for me too, Hell yea I can make it. Some nights I make bank, some nights, I just don't bet, and some night's I loss bank. Hmm.... maybe that's my problem with kiteboarding, I want to be good, my competitive side. As soon as I see someone do something I want to try it. If I don't make it, I'm going to get spanked trying over and over until well I make "bank".
